Jackie Woodward Shows Artwork at Weicherts: Youth Bands from MIR Music Provide Entertainment
Always ready to try something new, well-known local artist Jackie Woodward is featured at Weichert Realtors on Main Street for the month of November showing a series of wild animals painted in watercolors with a dash of Brusho Colors.
Woodward gets her subjects from a website called Paint My Photo (PMP) a social networking site dedicated to sharing photos for artistic inspiration without fear of infringing copyright. It gives her a chance to paint exotic animals right from her studio at home. Then she puts her own touch on them using Brusho Colors which takes some time and talent to learn how to use that expert touch.
The bands Why Joe-y and ECTON will provide entertainment
Joey Alioa uses his expert touch teaching these youth bands and you will see that when you hear the band Why Joe-y. They impressed the crowd who came to see them this summer at Tuesday Night Market at the stage on 3rd Ave. and Main St. Consisting of all girls they played tunes that were popular way before they were born. And the band ECTON continues the high quality of musical expertise when they play songs like Sweet Home Alabama and Don’t Stop Believing in the tradition of many great bands that they love.
